COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The weather will stay mostly dry Wednesday with a quick moving disturbance passing through - we will mention a slight chance at a few showers, but most will stay dry with more clouds than sun at times tomorrow. Look for the possibility of some fog in the morning, and with temperatures in the lower 30s, some freezing fog is possible that may provide a few icy patches on elevated surfaces. It’s just something to keep an eye on for the morning commute, but not a widespread issue. We’ll clear things out on Thursday and see temperatures back in the 20s early Thursday morning. Highs will be near 60 in the afternoon with the sunshine returning. Another disturbance moves in on Friday with only isolated showers, but temperatures will cool down again for the weekend with a mix of clouds and sunshine for Saturday and Sunday. Look for another shot at getting wet early next week, but once again, the coverage looks very low. Temperatures next week are expected to remain at or below average.
