Alabama legislators donate nearly $27K check to Smiths Station High School

SMITHS STATION, Ala. (WTVM) - Several Alabama state lawmakers are coming together to donate nearly $27,000 to Smiths Station High School.

State Senator Randy Price and State Representatives Chris Blackshear and Debbie Wood presented a check for $26,881 to the school.

Funds from the check will be spread out among various school program, including arts and athletics.

The lawmakers were joined by school administrators and Smiths Station Mayor Bubba Copeland for the check presentation.
