COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - We are lucky here in the Southeast to enjoy a couple days a wall to wall sunshine this time of year! If you enjoyed today, you’ll certainly enjoy the day on Tuesday with even milder temperatures up into the low 60s for many. Enjoy the next couple days as more unsettled conditions move in for the late week. Wednesday might feature an isolated morning shower, however, Thursday and Friday a 40-60% coverage in scattered showers will dominate the forecast. A solid 0.5 to 1.5 inches of rain should be expected across the Valley, so a healthy dose, but not a full on washout either. Crossing fingers that the upcoming weekend remains fry, but I can’t rule out a shower on Saturday with temps in the upper 50s. Overall, the next week or so looks above average in terms of temperatures, and a unsettled into the following week. Stay up to date with Storm Team 9 by downloading our free weather app!
