AUBURN, Ala. (WTVM) - The Office of Inclusion and Diversity at Auburn University is celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. all week.
Monday, Auburn University held a MLK Day scholarship breakfast and a day of service. Tuesday, organizations with the university are joining forces to collect and pack travel-sized toiletries for local nursing homes.
Events will continue throughout the week.
Members of the Black Student Union said this week is all about moving forward, making the community a better place and making King’s legacy of that beloved community a reality.
