COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - We start Monday off warm and muggy with lows in the low-to-mid 60s across the Chattahoochee Valley and some showers around in the forecast. We will see more rain move in throughout the morning hours with a few storms possible, especially in the later morning and early afternoon hours. Rain and clouds around will keep our highs in the lower-70s for Monday, but a cold front that moves through overnight into Tuesday will knock highs back into the 60s for the rest of the week. We keep things a bit unsettled through Wednesday with rain and a few storms in the forecast, but after that things will calm down for the end of the week. Sunshine and dry conditions return by the end of the week and look to stick around through the beginning next week as highs warm up back into the 70s potentially by next Tuesday.
