AUBURN, Ala. (WTVM) - An Auburn man was arrested Monday and is facing drug-related charges.

19-year-old Jay Quan Adams is charged with felony drug trafficking, possession of marijuana, and possession of a controlled substance.

The arrest stems from a search warrant that was executed at a residence in the 700 block of Carver Avenue. Auburn police recovered quantities of pills consistent with hydrocodone and Percocet, marijuana, and an AK-47 style pistol.

An investigation led to Adams being identified as a person of interest in the sale of illegal narcotics. Auburn police say the quantity of narcotics that was recovered confirmed Adams’ role in illegal drug sales.

Adams was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $54,000 bond. The case remains under investigation by Auburn police.
