COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - As we finish off a pleasant Sunday evening across the Chattahoochee Valley, we begin to get ready for more of the same to start the upcoming week. Tonight we fall off to seasonable levels with many low 50s across the board for most, temperatures quickly warm through Monday morning, as we top off in the middle 80s. Perhaps the first day jumping in the pool again after the winter season! Tuesday will feature much of the same as highs make it into the middle 80s for a lot of us, with of course plenty of sunshine. We progressively become more unsettled as the week goes on, starting with a 20-30% coverage of showers on Wednesday, along with cooler conditions in the low to middle 70s. The following weekend a 10-20% coverage of showers is in the mix with more low 70s for high temperatures, and lows dropping into the upper 40s and low 50s. Overall, a typical April pattern with bouts of warm and cool air in the forecast. Stay with WTVM on air, online, and on social!
