UPDATE: Victim ID’d in fatal shooting on Winston Rd. in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Police are investigating a homicide on Winston Rd. in Columbus Friday night.
On April 16 at approximately 6:16 p.m., the Columbus 911 Center responded to call in the 800 block of Winston Rd. in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, first responders located Andrew O’Neal suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
O’Neal was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional where he was pronounced dead.
The Homicide Unit is now investigating the shooting.
