Gov. Brian Kemp announces $15 million in GEER funds
COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Georgia Governor Brian Kemp announced today that 15 million dollars will become available in the Governor’s Emergency Education Relief Fund.
This money will be awarded to The Boys and Girls Clubs of Georgia to help advance student academic achievement and other needs that have come to light with the COVID-19 pandemic.
These funds will be distributed across 34 Boys & Girls Clubs organizations, 141 sites, and 62 counties in Georgia.
