Gov. Kay Ivey declares June 18 federal holiday for state employees in observance of Juneteenth

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WTVM) - Following the signature of the president declaring Juneteenth a national holiday, Alabama Governor Kay Ivey authorized June 18 as a holiday for state employees.

All state offices will be closed tomorrow.
