Drowning victim ID’d after recovered from Chattahoochee River in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The body of a drowning victim has been recovered from the Chattahoochee River in Columbus.
Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan says the victim has been identified as 44-year-old Scott Fuller, Jr.
Fuller was pronounced dead at 9:40 a.m. on Thursday, May 19. Fuller’s body is being sent for an autopsy.
Chief John Shull says Fuller’s body was found behind the Columbus Convention and Trade Center around 8:45 a.m.
On May 17, at about 10:30 p.m., Columbus officials responded to a call regarding a man jumping off the 14th Street pedestrian bridge into the Chattahoochee River.
The death has not been ruled a suicide.
