Allie Ann McCord

Meteorologist
Allie Ann McCord

A native to the Panhandle of Florida, Allie Ann is no stranger when it comes to the extreme weather conditions presented by the Southeast. Her life-changing weather event was experiencing the full force and raw power of Hurricane Michael firsthand when the Category 5 storm rolled through her hometown in 2018.

Born and raised a Seminole fan, Allie Ann graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Meteorology and a minor in Mathematics and Physics. During her time at Florida State, Allie Ann was a producer and served as on-air talent for the FSU Weather Show, a student-run live weather show covering everything from local to national weather! She was a member of the North Florida Chapter of the American Meteorological Society, as well as the Alpha Epsilon Chapter of Phi Mu Fraternity during her time at FSU.

Outside of forecasting for the Chattahoochee Valley, Allie Ann spends her time cheering on the Seminoles and enjoys playing golf and tennis with her friends and family.

Allie Ann is very excited to join Storm Team 9 and begin her career in the heart of the Southeast as New Leader 9's Weekend Morning Meteorologist.
