Chad Maxwell

Chad Maxwell joined WTOC in October 2022.

He comes to Savannah from our Gray sister station WPTA in Fort Wayne, Indiana where he was a sports reporter.

Chad first got his feet wet in sports broadcasting working as a sports update anchor and producer for 87.7 The Game and WGN Radio Sports in Chicago. Radio was a great start in the industry, but his dream was always to be on television. In 2017, Chad began working as a sports reporter for The Comcast Network Chicago. The pandemic forced Comcast to close it's doors, but that didn't stop Chad from following his dream, which presented itself in Fort Wayne.

Chad is an avid Chicago sports fan (Cubs, Bulls, Bears). Living two blocks away from Wrigley Field when the Cubs won the 2016 World Series, continues to be the highlight of his sports fandom.
