Nicole Jones has been recognized all of her life for her unusual artistic abilities. She began painting, drawing and sculpting at an early age. Her Degree in Art opened her eyes to the possibility of her using her talents in media and without any background in journalism. Her resume and body of work opened the door for her to become first a production assistant and now an award nominated producer and director. She was hired to be apart of the team behind the Dee Armstrong Show. It was the first of its kind in the market with local guest and satellite interviews with people like President Trump, Christina Milian, Vanessa Williams, Law in Order's Mariska Hargitay and Adrienne Houghton just to name a few. Nicole was also behind the scenes when Hollywood Star Danny Glover, R&B icon Kandi Burruss and the late actor from Martin, Tommy Ford appeared live on the set with Dee in separate shows.
Nicole lifted the bar in local television production by creating special effects and the show became the first local television show to use Facebook live using television production equipment.
In a male dominated career being a technical director, Nicole paved her way in the industry being one of the sharpest and best directors in the area.
Nicole wears many hats in the community. She started off as the morning and midday newscast director at WLTZ and She’s also featured as Nikki J on Columbus’ 106.5 and 95.3 as a radio personality delivering the Culture report.
