Dave has been a broadcaster for 46 years, the first 13 in radio, in Georgia and Alabama. He came to WALB first as voice talent and audio producer, then became director of promotions and public service, and then moved into news in 1995. In 1997, Dave went to the MSNBC Academy in Redmond, Washington, and began WALB's internet platform. He has been a constant presence in the station's online product ever since. In his three decades of service at WALB, Dave helped cover the floods of 1994 and 1998. He has worked alongside Channel 10 fixtures like Gil Patrick, Grady "Captain Mercury" Shadburn, Dawn Hobby, Rick Williams, Ben Roberts, and Yolanda Amadeo.
