Judd Davis started at WSFA 12 News in June of 2004. He anchors Today in Alabama with Tonya Terry. Before coming to Alabama Judd was a morning anchor KIVI in Boise, Idaho. He also worked as an anchor/reporter at KOBI in Medford, Oregon.
Judd graduated from Cal Poly University with a degree in broadcast journalism. He also played college football at Cal Poly. After one year of coaching junior college football he decided to turn in the whistle and pick up the mic. He's been doing morning news since 1999. The alarm clock goes off every morning around 3 a.m.
Judd is married to Bethany Davis who is a reporter at WSFA 12 News. They have a son named Hudson (aka Huddy Buddy) who was born in March of 2013. Judd has a daughter, Bailey, and son named Hunter.
His career highlights include flying in an F-16 fighter jet, covering the Alabama Crimson Tide's national championship in Pasadena, California, and traveling to England with an air force squadron from Mountain Home, Idaho.
