COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -  Columbus Police officials tell WTVM they're searching for a well-dressed bank robber following an afternoon hold-up.

Investigators say a gunman wearing a ski mask and suit walked into the BB&T Bank on 13th Street around 4:30 Tuesday and robbed the teller.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black man wearing a khaki colored suit, tie and white shirt as well as a black ski mask and carrying a silver semi-automatic handgun.

Police say he left in a small gray car, possibly the size of a Honda Civic, with tinted windows. He headed towards Lakebottom Park.

According to investigators, there were no customers in the bank at the time. No one was injured and no shots were fired.

The Columbus Police Department and FBI are investigating the robbery.

Anyone with information is asked to call the CPD's Robbery, Assault and Homicide Division at 706-653-3400.
