What can be worse for a child than watching your parents go through a painful divorce? How about being abducted by your father while being brainwashed into believing that he's the only one who loves you? Today's guests all say they were stolen away from the mothers who loved them. One 14 year-old girl was taken by her father and lived on the run with him for 6 months. During that time, they moved from homeless shelter to shelter while he allegedly sexually assaulted her. She stayed with him for months until a friend at a homeless shelter advised her to go to the police. We'll also meet two siblings who were taken from their mother at the young ages of 2 and 5. For 5 ½ years they lived with their father, in squalor for most of that time. Instead of going to school, they were left on their own each day to forage for food in the forest, and return to their mobile home where there was no water or electricity. They say their father beat them on a regular basis. Finally, the FBI tracked them down, and they were taken to foster care until they were ready to meet the mother whom they believed didn't love them.

When parents get married and blend their families, their hope is always that the stepchildren will get along. When today's guests found themselves in this situation, they got along a little too well! You'll meet a teenage couple who started dating a few days before their parents started seeing each other. When these parents got married, they expected that their children would end their romantic relationship and start acting like stepbrother and stepsister. They've set impossible household rules to discourage their children from continuing to date. You'll also meet a young woman who believes her stepbrother is the father of her child. The family doesn't want to believe that this could possibly be true, but they may have to once Montel announces the DNA test results. Dr. Margorie Engel, Ph.D., is the author of Weddings: A Family Affair. She'll be on the show with advice on what these families should do.

The couples on today's show say they're tired of all the disapproval surrounding their relationships. One 16 year-old girl says her father is making her choose between him or her boyfriend. She's already pregnant and plans on marrying her boyfriend soon, but says she desperately wants her father's approval first. Her father says her boyfriend is no good and that he'll never like him. You'll also meet a couple who say they want to get married but his family disapproves because of their age difference. He is 29, with two children and she is 18. You'll meet his sister and his ex-girlfriend who both say that she's not good enough for him. You'll also meet a daughter who's terribly concerned about her mother's desire to marry a man she's never met before. Not only does she plan to marry a man she met over the Internet, but she also plans to move to Pakistan to be with him! Daylle Deanna Schwartz is the author of All Men Are Jerks Until Proven Otherwise. She'll be on the show to talk about how today's couples can overcome disapproval.

The women on today's show have harrowing stories to tell and they're lucky to be alive. You'll meet one woman who was on her way to visit her daughter when she stopped at a local bar where she met a man. She stepped outside the bar with him and agreed to sit in his van…then her nightmare began. She was savagely beaten, raped, and left for dead. Amazingly, she survived the attack. You'll also meet a woman whose estranged husband attempted to hold her and their five children hostage at gunpoint. She escaped the house with three of the children and for six hours her ex holed himself up in the house with the other two. What happened next will break your heart. Special Agent Chris Whitcomb is the author of Cold Zero: Inside the FBI Hostage Rescue Team, and was a member of the FBI. He is an expert at dealing with hostage situations. He'll talk about the steps you can take if you are ever in the position to negotiate a hostage rescue situation.
