COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Residents across the Chattahoochee Valley are prepped to come together for one cause: to pray.
It's the kick off for a week of prayer that spans the globe and hopes to bring Christians and non-Christians alike to stand united in prayer for our nation and for people right here in west Georgia and east Alabama.
Debi Johnson, is one of the organizers and she says it's not just something to be done on one day, but every day.
"Any needs in our community that we have we all come together as one and pray for those needs in our community in Columbus and in the valley," says Johnson.
See you at the Pole is a movement that has been happening across the country since 1990.
For those wanting to take part in prayer tomorrow, September 24 at noon, the event will be held at the flag pole at the City Services Center in Columbus and at the War Memorial in Phenix City.
