LAGRANGE, GA (WTVM) - A LaGrange man is celebrating a win from the Georgia Lottery.

Charles Green, 40, played the instant game 20X The Money and won a $400,000 top prize.

"I was waiting in the car for my friend to get a haircut," Green said. "I decided to go and get a ticket while I waited."

Money Back #0030, 320 Commerce Ave. in LaGrange, sold the winning ticket.

"I scratched the ticket in the store, and it surprised me," he said. "I went back to the barber shop, and my friend and I looked at it again and again."

Excited about his windfall, the lucky winner anticipates purchasing a new home.

"I'm excited," said Green, who works as a machine operator.
