Gov. Nathan Deal makes quick stop in Columbus

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - It's one week until the mid-term elections, and Georgia Governor Nathan Deal made a quick stop in the Fountain City on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

Gov. Deal arrived in Columbus on a bus tour with Republican constitutional officers. We're told they started the day in Rome, Ga. then Macon before heading to Columbus, and finished off the day in Albany as part of their six-day tour.

Georgia's Secretary of State Brian Kemp and Attorney General  Same Olens also joined Gov. Deal duringTuesday's visit.
