CHAMBERS COUNTY, AL (WTVM) - A Chambers County jury decided on Friday that a Valley teen is not guilty of rape, but found him guilty on two other charges.

The jury found Dijon King guilty of sodomy and burglary in addition to their not guilty decision.

Prosecutors argued that in March 2013,  King broke into the victim's boyfriend's home on 56th Street and attacked her while she was in bed.

Prosecutors say King, then 17 years old, knew the victim would be home alone, because King was with her boyfriend. King's DNA also tied him to the crime scene.

The defense says King is innocent and claims the encounter between King and the victim was consensual.
