Police looking for Dollar General robbery suspect

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - On Nov. 10 at approximately 5:25 p.m., Columbus Police Patrol Units responded to the Dollar General at 3729 Macon Road in reference to an armed robbery of the business.

The clerks stated that a white male with a skinny build armed with a black handgun entered the business and demanded all the money. The suspect is described as wearing a black hoodie with the hood pulled over his head and a bandanna-type cloth covering his face. He was also wearing black pants.

The suspect then fled the store in an unknown direction. Police report that at least two white males and one white female were seen leaving the story in a late-model Chevy Malibu that was cold in color.

At this time, the surveillance video of the suspect was not available. We will update this story once we obtain a picture of the suspect.
