FORT BENNING, GA (WTVM) – The Fort Benning WIC office is moving to a new location on Friday, Jan. 23.
The office will move from its current location in Soldiers Plaza, to the Solider for Life Center in building 9230 on Marne Road. It's also the same building that houses the post's commissary.
The office will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 27. At 8 a.m.
Fort Benning families that have questions on WIC can contact the district WIC office in Columbus at 1-800-789-5502.
WIC, the Women, Infants and Children Supplemental Nutrition Program, is a federally-funded nutrition program that provides special checks to qualifying mothers and children who need fresh produce, milk, eggs and other healthy foods.
