COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Two men were shot, and two more men were shot at in two separate incidents on 13th Street Tuesday evening.
In the first incident, a 40-year-old man was shot multiple times in his torso around 8:17 p.m. by an unknown gunman. The shooting occurred at 4700 block of 13th Avenue. The victim was transported to Midtown Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
In a second incident, two men were shot in the same area of 13th Avenue around 8:30 p.m. A 36-year-old victim was shot in the right thigh, while police reports indicate a 68-year-old victim was shot at, but did not sustain any injuries.
Both of these victims were also transported to Midtown Medical Center. Their condition is unknown at this time.
A third man, who was also at the scene of the second incident, was shot at multiple times while inside his 2005 Chevrolet C2500, which also sustained damage from gunfire. He did not sustain any physical injuries, according to the incident report.
In all of these incidents, the victims said the suspect was driving a dark-colored four-door Dodge Charger. The victims also said an unknown type of firearm was used during the shooting.
The cases remain under investigation.
