AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - Auburn police have arrested a man wanted in connection to a string of burglaries.
On Thursday, Jan. 22, 32-year-old Daniel W. Bryant of Opelika was arrested on felony warrants charging him with two counts of third degree burglary, first degree theft of property, and second degree theft of property.
The arrest was the result of an investigation that began when a burglary was reported in the 200 Block of Mockingbird Lane on Nov. 23, 2012. Guns, jewelry, and electronics valued at approximately $16,000 were reported stolen.
Another burglary was reported in the 500 Block of East University Drive on Dec. 3, 2012, where jewelry valued at $12,000 was reported stolen.
Bryant was developed as a suspect and warrants for his arrest were obtained on Jan. 9, 2013. Since that time, Bryant has been incarcerated in correctional facilities located in Mississippi and Georgia.
Bryant was recently extradited to Alabama, and he was subsequently arrested and charged with the crimes.
Bryant was transported to the Lee County Jail and will be eligible for a $14,000 bond.
