INDIANAPOLIS (WTVM) – Going to class can be difficult sometimes, but there is now an app to help college students stay on track.

The Core Principle Company has created the Class120 App that tracks a student's class attendance, which can be viewed by students, professors, campus administrators, and even parents.

If a student is not in class, the app will send an alert to the student, parents, professor, and college administrators. The app even has a Live Reminder Service option that will actually call students when they miss consecutive classes or too many sessions in a single course.

According to the company's website, The University of Alabama was one of 20 universities across the nation that tested the app last year.

The app is available for iPhone's and costs $17.99 a month or $199.99 for one year.
