Feb. 14 marks 'National Donor Day'

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – Valentine's Day is a day to think of the ones we love, but it is also important to remember "National Donor Day," which honors organ donors and those who receive organs.

There are about 124,000 people waiting for organ transplants in the U.S. and one donor could save eight lives.

Special guest Kaysha Cranon, from Live Link of Georgia, joined News Leader 9's Cheryl Renee to talk more about the importance of National Donor Day.
