AUBURN, AL (WTVM) - An Auburn man has been arrested in connection to an auto burglary and residential theft.
On Tuesday April 21, the Auburn Police Division arrested 28-year-old Jonathan G. Raber on warrants charging him with unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and third degree theft of property.
His arrest is the result of an investigation of an auto burglary and theft that occurred at a residence in the 300 block of Windsor Drive that was reported to police on April 8.
Responding officers were informed that an unknown suspect was observed fleeing on foot after taking a wallet that contained approximately $70 cash from a 2007 Honda Odyssey van.
An investigation into the incident by Auburn Police resulted in Raber being developed as a suspect. He was subsequently identified as being the individual responsible for illegally entering the victim's vehicle and taking the property.
Detectives obtained warrants for his arrest, and he was located at his residence and taken into custody.
Raber was transported to the Lee County Jail and will be eligible for a $4,000 bond.
