WEST POINT, GA (WTVM) – The West Point Police Department said in a press release on Tuesday that they are in the beginning stages of an investigation into a man's death.
On May 9 around noon ET, officers responded to the 900 block of East 8th Street in regards to a call of an unresponsive male that had been located inside of a residence.
After searching the home, they discovered the male, identified as Phillip Bernard Huguley, 68, of West Point, was dead. No other individuals were located in the residence.
The West Point Police Department requested assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation to assist in the investigating and processing the incident scene.
