COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) – A Columbus woman is celebrating the arrival of her triplets following their weekend birth.

The mother, 28-year-old Tameka Lewis, gave birth to her triplet daughters on Sept. 25 at Columbus Regional Hospital. The babies, born prematurely at 29 week, were all born under three pounds each.

The babies, A'Mya, Alexandria and Arianna, are currently in the NICU at the Medical Center.

But this isn't Tameka's first journey into motherhood – the single mother has two other children, both under the age of three years old – a 2-year-old and an 8-month-old.

The family has set up a GoFundMe account for Tameka Lewis and will accept donations. Folks that wish to help donate can contact the family at (678)607-5642.
