COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Have you ever wondered what to do with those old electronics, or household chemicals?
The Columbus Consolidated Government is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Project on Saturday, Oct. 3.
"We need to take care of our environment because our environment takes care of us," explained Gloria Weston-Smart with Keep Columbus Beautiful.
She explained the need to dispose of certain items in order to prevent pollution.
The Household Hazardous Waste Project will collect items such as paint, paint thinners, shoes of any style and paper.
The project will take place at the old recycling warehouse on 22nd Ave. from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
