BUTLER, GA (WTVM) - Jury selection is expected to begin in the case of a woman accused of locking her adopted daughter in a chicken coop in Butler, GA.
Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents say Diana Franklin and her husband Samuel kept a 15-year-old girl locked in a chicken coop, after she refused to do manual labor back in May 2012.
Diana Franklin is facing cruelty to children and false imprisonment charges.
Samuel, who's facing the same charges, is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 14.
