No bond given for Circle K armed robbery suspect

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - An Atlanta area man charged with robbing a Circle K in Columbus at gunpoint appeared in court Tuesday morning.

Tommy Thomas, 24, represented himself in court, and a Columbus detective testified that Thomas along with three others entered the Circle K on Manchester Expressway near Rosemont Drive. They then walked around before attacking a customer and the clerk.

The customer was allegedly pushed to the ground by Thomas then the other two accomplices allegedly beat him up when he tried to leave, he did eventually escape.

Thomas was one of three suspects who eventually made their way to Fulton County where they were arrested for a home invasion.

He was given no bond and will remain in jail.
