Troup County makes an arrest in connection to numerous mail thefts

TROUP COUNTY, GA (WTVM) - Over the past several weeks investigators with the Troup County Sheriff's Office have been investigating numerous mail thefts from various residential locations.
Troup County investigators worked extensively with the Harris County Sheriff's Office and U.S. Postal Inspectors on these cases. The suspect was identified as 35-year-old Robert Brent Jackson of Columbus.
Jackson has been taken into custody at another jail facility. Investigators are in the process of filing numerous counts of theft, identity fraud and forgery.
