(WTVM) – Columbus residents and local business leaders will gather to mark the start of the 2016 March for Babies season and raise money to help Muscogee County and Phenix City babies.
This is the largest fundraiser with over 250 walkers and despite downpour and tornado watches, it brought in more than $200,300 in Columbus last year.
For more than 75 years, moms and babies have benefited from March of Dimes research, vaccines, education and breakthroughs.
The March for Babies in Columbus will be on Saturday, May 14 at 9:30 a.m.
The event will take place at the Columbus Regional Conference Center located at 710 Center Dr. If you would like to register click here or contact Susan Brown at (706) 660-0610.
