COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A Columbus hair salon is latest business to step up and lend support to a local family who tragically lost three relatives in a car crash last weekend.

Hair Kinections Beauty Salon will be raising money on Friday to help with the funeral costs for 6-year-old Denyla Biggers, 33-year-old Kayla Wilson and 35-year-old Nikia Wilson, who died in an interstate wreck last Friday in Coweta County.

The fundraiser starts Friday, April 8 during normal operating hours from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

They will be donating 75 percent of proceeds towards the funeral services and accept donations as well.

"It can be so devastating for the family, you know not only did they lose Kayla and Denyla and Kayla's sister, there is several children that were injured, you know there's another teenager that's going to be traumatized and it's just a significant loss and being that the family probably wasn't expecting to bury a child," said Tonya Bell, owner and manager of Hair Kinections.

Additionally, a vigil will be held Thursday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m. for Kayla Wilson at 4913 Hitchitee Street in Columbus.

Funerals for the three are Sunday, April 10 at Faith Tabernacle Community Church at 3 p.m.
