GA man ID'ed as person found dead behind Opelika business

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) – Opelika police were called out to the area of Crooked Creek Shopping Center regarding a man who had passed away.

Police say the man was found behind the business on Columbus Parkway on April 8 around 8:30 p.m.

The man was identified as 50-year-old David Bradarvelt of Waverly Hall in Harris County, GA.

Bradarvelt's death has been ruled a homicide and Opelika detectives are assisting investigators from Harris County and the GBI with their investigation.
