58 graduate from WHINSEC course on Ft. Benning

FORT BENNING, GA (WTVM) - Fifty-eight officers are now graduates of the WHINSEC courses on Fort Benning.

Graduates from 10 countries took part in the ceremony Thursday morning at the Marshall Auditorium, representing all four military branches.

Thirty-three of the graduates are from the United States.

One graduate says the relationships made during the course made finishing even more special.

"Just completing an 11-month course with partners from South America and Central America- in which we completed our Commanding General Staff College," said Major Michael Arevalo. "Getting to work side by side and understanding the cultural exchange- it's just very key to kind of improving relationships and making things better."

Dr. Wendell C. King, Dean of Academics at Army University, was the guest speaker.
