MOST WANTED: Best Buy robbery suspects

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus police continue to search for two robbery suspects who investigators say walked out of a local electronic store with items they did not pay for.

But the story doesn't stop there.

Columbus police have been searching for this couple since April 30.

According to police the two entered the Best Buy Store in Columbus on that day at approximately 12:35 p.m. and several moments later the two can be seen leaving the store with several stolen items.

"They grabbed some electronics and as they were leaving the store an employee tried to stop them but he displayed a firearm and threatened them and so they let them leave the scene," said Officer Paul Moody with the Columbus Police Department.

That's when this dangerous duo took off in a Chevrolet Tahoe and fled the scene.

Look closely at this photo of the vehicle in question. It appears to have body damage to the front drivers side as well as having a shattered missing rear window.

The vehicle also appeared to have brown rust on the roof.

Make no mistake, these two are dangerous to commit this type of robbery in broad daylight.

So if you recognize them call police immediately.

"If they're that bold. you need to be aware and careful if you do encounter them and call 911 right away," Officer Moody said.

If you know anything about the suspects give Columbus Police a call at (706) 653-3400.

Remember, you don't have to leave your name when calling in a tip.
