PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - Leaders in Russell County gathered on Wednesday, July 13 to talk about some issues facing the area at the monthly Biscuits and Business Meeting.
The meeting is put on by the Phenix City-Russell County Chamber of Commerce.
This month's breakfast featured a panel of law enforcement and EMT employees in attendance.
They focused on talking to business owners about what the appropriate action is in an emergency situation.
"We're going to go through several scenarios of things that could happen, and how do you respond- what do you do" said Victor Cross, President and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce. "And it's just a preparedness program and that's what we're trying to do."
The session also included scenario situations to give attendees a feel for what they might do if an emergency happened.
