COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - As the Columbus Whitewater Rafting scene nears a major milestone, one lucky rafter could find themselves with a pretty nice amount of spending money.
As Columbus Whitewater nears the end of its fourth whitewater season, it hopes to send its 100,000th rafter down the Chattahoochee River.
"It's been a big deal for us and the project has worked out really well," said Richard Bishop, president of Uptown Columbus. "Whitewater Express has done a great job of guiding people safely down the river and we just see great opportunities for our tenants and our customer base to grow in the next few years."
In order to get the community involved, it wants to give $1,000 to one of those lucky rafters.
All you have to do is book your rafting trip, and your name will automatically be entered into the drawing.
