1 arrested, 1 at large in Opelika Huddle House robbery

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) – Opelika Police have arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery at the Huddle House at 2020 Gateway Dr. early Saturday morning.

Two suspects entered the restaurant around 1:30 a.m. and robbed the business and two customers.

An undisclosed amount of money and property was taken, but no injuries were reported from the incident.

The suspects fled the scene in a white car, but Opelika Police was able to arrest 19-year-old Qwantavious Darrell Lee from Opelika.

Lee was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and was booked into the Lee County Jail.
