COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Another installment of the business speaker series took place at Columbus State University.
On Thursday, Goodwill Southern Rivers President and CEO Jane Seckinger made a visit to the Turner College of Business School.
Seckinger spoke about moving to the next level of leadership as the second speaker in the college's Fall 2016 Executive Speaker Series lineup.
She has been at the helm of Goodwill since 1999 and led the organization from $3.8 million in gross revenue to $27 million during her tenure.
"I think this is really important to students to see leaders right here in the community," Seckinger said. "Goodwill is a wonderful non-profit that serves job seekers looking for work."
The Fall 2016 Executive Speaker Series kicked off with Ryan Westwood, who is the CEO of Simplus.
Previous speakers included CSU President Chris Markwood.
