PHENIX CITY, AL (WTVM) - People looking for a good time found it Friday night at the finale of the Phenix City Riverfront Fall Festival Series.
The festival was held to celebrate the completion of the 3rd Avenue streetscape and the growth and development of the Phenix City Riverfront. Folks of all ages gathered to enjoy free live entertainment, food and an antique car show.
"The city is trying to support all of the families and get more unity among the people here so you should support, you should come out and do everything you can to support what the parks and recreations are doing," said John Hodges, leader of the band Masters of Soul.
The band, which specializes in Motown memories and hits from the 70s, performed at the event. There were also gourmet food trucks and children's activities.
Since September 1, the Riverfront Festivals have been providing unique and fun entertainment.
