COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - With a new transition of power in our government some citizens are concerned with what could happen next.
A meeting was held Wednesday night in Columbus giving folks the chance to voice their opinions and work on a positive solution for those concerns.
Educational information was passed out as well including how you can reach your local government representatives and state reps.
Organizers say the main goal of tonight's meeting was to focus on implementing positive outcomes.
"I think we have to bring some civility back to the public discourse and we have to be more respectful of each other in our positions," said Suzanna Burdeadshaw, the group meeting organizer.
More than 100 people showed up to voice their concerns and share their views.
