COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - People from all around the Valley area came together to celebrate different cultures which exist in the world of cartoons, and action figures.

The Columbus Comic Book and Toy Show was held Sunday at Columbus State University's Coca-Cola Space Science Center.

The comic book convention features toys, comic books, costumes, vendors, flight simulators, and special exhibits.

The show brought out people of all ages to the event – some as comic fans, others as curious onlookers.

This is the ninth year the event has been held, and an average of 500 people attend each year.

New additions to this year's set-up featured virtual reality simulator demos.
