Swimmers from across the country are in Columbus this week for the 2017 NAIA National Swimming and Diving Championships.
The competition kicked off Wednesday at the Columbus Aquatic Center and consists of 20 events, with preliminaries in the morning and finals in the evening.
The competition will feature 385 swimmers and ends Saturday, March 4.
Tickets for one person per day are $15 and can be bought at the aquatic center.
"Swimming has been a great sport for the NAIA, it's been growing for the last few years," said Jamie Adams with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. "We have had more schools added, with more student athletes as well."
Some teams come from as far away as England and Germany.
