COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Army Expeditionary Warrior Experiment event at Fort Benning on Wednesday gave soldiers and civilians a chance to better understand new technology.
The annual event has booths set up from outside vendors that show off their ideas and equipment like cameras, drones, print 3D pictures, guns and more.
"It's a great opportunity for us because otherwise, you're guessing you don't have the opportunity to get solider feedback on things you're just guess and I would any in most cases you are just guessing wrong," said Eddie Davis, director of the Maneuver Battle Lab.
Fort Benning officials say the event is a great way to get feedback from soldiers of what they need.
It also keeps them up-to-date and helps them become advance for training and combat.
