COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - Columbus State University's Coca-Cola Space Science Center (CCSSC) is opening a new interactive space flight adventure March 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Admission is $5 per person and free for children ages three and under. Hot dogs, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase.

A Space Shuttle Odyssey was created by a $250,000 gift from WestRock, an American packaging company.

"We are so grateful to have a partner like WestRock," said Shawn Cruzen, executive director of CUS's Coca-Cola Space Science Center. "Together, we are providing inspiration to the next generation of science explores, as well as creating a richer history and culture experience for the region and visitors."

"A Space Shuttle Odyssey" launch celebration includes:

  • “A Space Shuttle Odyssey” shows every 20 minutes
  • RED the Robot in action
  • Super Science demonstrations
  • Air Rocket construction and launches
  • Omnisphere Theater shows
